nrg engine damper install (help) pic included 92-95 civic
updated pic scroll down page
okay guys I bought a engine damper for my civic and I'm trying to install it. My problems is the front mount won't sit flush on the engine I was told that I have the correct mount so I guess I don't understand how this works. Please help pics below sorry for the huge size I was in a hurry.

REALLY, that's sad I emailed nrg tech about this because it doesn't make any sense to sell a product that does not fit correctly. I was hoping that I did something wrong but if i did i can't figure it out

Updated with new PIC I have a old 92 d16z6 sitting in my backyard and when I put the mount on well let's say a picture is worth 1k words. I know picture quality is crap but you fully understand what I'm talking about now

Re: nrg engine damper install (Diseased Dreams)
I bought this thing from NOPI so I'm not sure what's going to happen. What I do know is NRG made a bo-bo, but I can't believe no one else is having this problem.

I've got a feeling that the left side mount(looking at the pic) goes underneeth and the right side stays on the top side.

that might work think about it for a second. i dont know what your top mount looks like cause that first pic is crappy. but take off the bracket and take off the top motor mount and try sliding it together then botling it to the mount on the motor.

I'm not joking. I've got a hunch like Jay said. Take off the engine mount and put it on.

Re: nrg engine damper install (JunY)
yea i think thats how it works but the motor mount looks completely different on my car so i cant say for sure but i doubt it was meant to be mounted like you have it and obviously your not the only person thats bought this thing so it must have worked for everyone else that bought it before you.

no not at all just take a good long look at the pic and if you cant get what he is saying then i dont know. the nrg braket is fine the way it is just gota slide in on the other mount not shown in the second pic then go over those 2 bolts.

Umm....yeah. Because look at it....if you try to flip it around, the engine bushing will get in the way, so that's a "No go." But if he keeps it in the same direction, as the pic below, but having the left side that sticks out underneeth and the right side that sticks out on top....that really makes sense to me. Think about. There's no other way I could think of it mounting in that position.
