NPT Fitting question
Hey guys real simple question i just cant find the part i need
I have an autometer mechanical oil temp gauge and the fitting on it is a male 1/2 NPT style fitting..I need to convert this to a 14x1.5 (metric) to fit a b18c5 oil pan. Any idea where i can find this part..Ive been looking for a few days online with no luck

Re: NPT Fitting question (obviousBOY)
Hey bran...what about this contraption.....
1ST FITTING - 1/2 NPT to -6
2ND FITTING - -6 to -6 union
3RD FITTING - -6 to 14 x 1.5
Kind of excessive, but itll get the job done

i dont think that would work for oil temp. plus if you mount it in the head you will get residual heat from the head giving an inaccurate oil temp reading
