Default NOW WTH IS GOIN ON WITH MY CAR?!! HELP!!

Car is a 97 Honda Civic DX Hatchback.

Swapped a B18B with a GSR tranny. Suspension mods include redrilled 11.1 prelude vtec rotors, ITR calipers, EX swaybar, EX Knuckles with a 1inch GSR MC using civic BB. Driveshafts are 90-93 Integra axles with DA Half shaft.

Engine runs fine. Sounds strong. Here's my problem, while accelerating I feel ticking/knocking like vibrations through the floorboard and the steering column also when turning right. So I thought it was the axles. I recently purchased reman axles and double checked everything. Nothing is loose. Everthing is like brick tight. So I just took it for a spin and the exact same thing is happening. I don't know where to look to now. Someone please help!

Sounds like a bad tranny bearing to me...

Steering shouldn't really matter if you're going straight.

But I can feel the tick/knocking when accelerating when going straight. When the car is rolling in neutral I don't feel any of that, it's only when I'm on the gas climbing RPM's quickly. Differential maybe? I can shift into gears just fine btw...

Sounds like it could be almost anything. Prop the car up on jack stands and have someone run the car and take a look at whats moving around.

You think it will have the same effect without any load?

They're OEM remans. Happened on 2 sets of axles already.

So I jacked up the car, started it, and ran it into 1st-3rd gear about 4k rpm max.

I can definetly feel that some what seemed to be like jerking or vibration but not as bad as when it's under load. I looked under the car and noticed that tranny fluid is leaking on the driver side tranny where the halfshaft meets it. What does this mean?

Again, I am using DA axles with a hydro tranny. I replaced the driver side axle seal with a seal from a DA so the halfshaft would slide in properly.

the leaking is probably the axle seal going bad. Had the same problem with my tranny seal. As for the vib's its probably going to be the tranny itself. Could be a bad mount but im just throwing that out there. I would take it a local rep. shop and see what they say.

U think the entire tranny? Or maybe just the Diff? I can shift into gears fine and it stays in gear.

well, i have having the same eact problem. b18c in 97 hatch. vibrates when accelerating and turning right. i am going to replace the driver's side axle as i already did the pass side and no dice, but from what i've read it could be 1. the halfshaft support bearing or 2. a bent halfshaft.

check that....

So after replacing the axles it still does the same thing. Time to drop the tranny? Anyone know if the tranny internally will cause these types of vibrations?
