when the throttle rotates the rotor on the throttle body the cable protector is getting stuck between the throttle rotor and the cable. just cut the black nipple looking thing off and your good. i had the same problem.

everything looks good in my opinion. you may just want to replace the throttle cable. They arent expensive. Theres a chance it could be fraying somewhere from the pedal to the throttle body.

Re: (doublejz)
what year?
96-00 Civics had a recall on the floor mats. The gas pedal would sometimes get stuck because the mat would slide up.
Honda will install a peg into the floor and give you a new drives mat with a gromet to keep it in place.

As for the Clutch adjustability there is probably air in your clutch line. So you can bleed the clutch just as you bleed brakes. As for tranny fluid I suggest Just go and buy regular 10w-30 oil and Flush it atleast 3 times and shift through all gear before bieng done.

do yall not see the broken nipple on the cable protector, thats the problem as i said before seeing the pics. it slides down the cable and gets caught between the throttle rotor and cable. just snip it off.

Floormat is not superglued to the floor in any of the 6 hondas I owned.... How else do you clean under them when washing the car?

that only means your car was updated with the recall.
move onto the cable then.
