Been looking around for 14lb flywheels for the d-series and can't seem to find anything above 10lbs. Is there a place that sells these flywheels or is 10lb under flywheels only?

is there a reason why you want a 14lbs flywheel??? my 9lbs fidanza flywheel was perfect and i also daily drove it...but i never really heard of a 14lbs flywheel only if you get it lightened but not to many place will do that now... i've seen a shop on e-bay that is selling resurface lighten flywheel, i'm sure if you contact them and send yours in they can resurface it to your liking..

I've been reading a lot of threads about lighten flywheels etc. Some people say light flywheels are great for boost and some people say light flywheels aren't too great for boost. I also don't like how the revs fall too fast etc that you would get with a light 8lb flywheel. So I figured that instead of keeping the stock weight flywheel or getting a flywheel that is too light for my liking. I would just get one that is right in the middle.

I know a lot of people would say what kind of logic is that, but I figured having a flywheel that can give me a little of both worlds is better then none. That's why I choose around a 14lb flywheel.

I can understand that. I have heard that 12lb is a good compromise between momentum and mass, but I don't have any first-hand experience. However, that is a more common weight, and you may have more luck finding one. I'm sure if you search a little, you can find a lot of threads.
