Default Not quite HID's (Silverstars) 56K bad :)

hey guys took some pics of my Sylvana (SP?) silverstars headlights ...I paid 30 bucks for them. Well worth it IMO

I found mine at autozone ... Just about any big auto chain should have them ....

is it actually brighter than the OEM Civic headlights?

Ive never seen them in person... and one guy posted he is actually gonna sell his HIDs for a set of silverstars?

whats the deal? are they really that bright or somethin? just wonderin

Should be brighter than stock bulbs but not as bright as HID. Looks very nice

Yes, they are much brighter than stock bulbs. I have them as well and am very pleased. Only thing I dislike is my headlights beam pattern, but I take it thats the housing's problem not the bulbs. Overall they are way better than stock, and for the price you can't beat'em.

I have 'em in my coupe, well worth the money IMO

I got them from either Advance Auto Parts or Autozone, can't remember which...

There was some special going on at the time .... Sylvana was offering a 10 dollar mail in rebate on a pair. and Advanced autoparts was doing a "its getting dark sooner now replace your headlights" special .. buy one headlight bulb 2nd one half price ...
