Default Not Getting any gas? Car Wont Start up

I recently changed the timing belt, Turned it on but ive been having an idle problem since before i broke the belt well now when i got done fixin it i crank it and i step on the gas and it takes its time for the rpm to pick up, well i was like atleast tryto take it out atleast on the street... So When i put it in first gear, its like it was just rolling and i would stomp the gas pedal but it goes nowhere then i put in neutral and rpms would go up but they would stay low when i put it in gear??? i jus parked it to mess with the next day....

NOW the Car wont even turn on? i had the idle air control valve messed up but still it should start up right lmk if any of you had similar experiences

lmk if need more info...

there is a notch on the block and a notch on the crank you have to line thouse up and check to make sure that cylinder 1 is at top dead center and if it is the two lines on the cam gear directly accrost from eachother should be level with the head and if there are the letters "up" they shoud be facing up

yeah i did that thanks so i dont have a timing problem, what can you tell me keeps the car from getting any gas in and/or starting up? i know my iacv is bad because of the past jumping idle problem.... could of that gotten worse?

Unless he has a z6, they line them up a little different.

So it doesn't run at all now? Does it have spark? Does it have good fuel pressure?

crank the car over and pound on the dash just above your left knee (if you are sitting in the car like your driving) there is a main relay under the dash that tells the car to start spraying fuel if this goes bad you can usually hit the dash hard a few times while cranking and if it starts id replace the relay.

A6? The cam timing may be off a tooth, they dont line up to the head surface, they have a pointer to line up to. It should still start though. Another thing to check is compression.

The main relay is about three inches above your hood release pull-lever. It's a grey box with a brown connector and it's attached to the car via a single 10mm bolt that you can easily get to with a wrench.

When you put the key in the on position do you hear the fuel pump prime?

ok i took my d16z6 like a million times so everyone is talking about the timing with just the cam make sure that pistons 1 and 4 are all the way up and 2 and 3 all the way down you can check using an a long skinny type of object and stick it where the spark plug is soposed to be in now when you feel as if number one is all the way up you'll have to check the crank pully make sure that the hole on the crank is lined up with a hole right behind it.....as soon as thats done make sure the camgear is aligned with up basicly up slap the belt on....now take all of your spark plug wires or the distributor the setup should be

i think but look into it and make sure the wire sequence is right and then yea the main relay should be a brown looking object hit the crapp out of it worked for my too so yea i hope this helped homie
