You say its non vtec but ive heard 15 ppl say they can see the vtec solenoid... idk what it looks like but they see it.

Hmmmmm.... I'm not a pro or anything at this, so im gonna take a long shot here...

Vtec Valve Cover...
Vtec Solenoid...

You've got yourself a Vtec engine my brotha...

Block stamped ZC doesnt make it the dual cam non vtec D series, it makes it a D16 thats from JDM Land since mass amounts of D16's in Japan we're all stamped ZC, even the single cam vtec version...

I'm betting the thread got closed because so many people were posting rude comments. Often threads are just locked instead of cleaned because it's a pain to clean a thread. I guess on this forum perhaps there is no option for a mod to delete multiple posts in a thread at once.

I'm betting your engine is from one of the 3rd gen Integras I mentioned in your other thread.

Here are photos of VTEC solenoids. I found these by searching Google images for "VTEC solenoid".

Here is where it is on your car.

Hey those pics are really helpfull I was always wondering where the solinoid was...

So its a JDM block with a d16y8 head on it you think?

is there any codes on the head that I could look at to say what model its from?

no they actually make a single cam vtec motor that is stamped zc.. it doesnt have to have a different head on it. the block is a 1.6 liter and its a single cam vtec.

I had one in my hatch once upon a time.

this thread may get locked cause it has a "bad word" in the title.

and we're all children who can't handle "bad words"

What is so hard to grasp? That is just a 96-00 ZC vtec. Just the jdm equivalent of our y8

What's up Koopa? This is FallenAngel from TDR.

I got your PM about your Civic, but haven't been at my computer at the same time as you yet to talk to you about it.

I'll keep trying to catch you online.
