Normal Headlights/Brights :.:.: 98 Civic EX
Im a noob towards civics. I know more about preludes and such. I searched but could not find what I am looking for.
I am pretty sure there is only one socket for headlights, right? So when I turn on my brights, is there another brighter bulb in there that turns on? Or is there a different socket for the bright. I have yet to replace my stock housing and I was just wondering because I am looking into a 6000k-7000k HID kit.
Thanks in advance.

yes the 98 Civic only has one bulb for highs/lows. The headlights themselves have two sockets (one for turns/main bulb), but if you want to get an HID kit, you just need to replace the main bulb.
by the way... using the search function is a great way to a) find your answers, and b) not get flamed.
