I have never seen a body wrinkle like that. It also looks like the fender has a slight gap on those seems. Did you hit something, lol?

to me, but dont take my word for it i havent seen much body damage. anyways but it looks like it was wrecked, like wrinkled, then straightened out without being replaced?? are you the first one to own this car?? cause if so then that completely rules that idea out.. but if not them maybe thats it??

I am not the first owner, but I don't remember having those wrinkles there before last week when I ran at the track. Ill have to pull some old pictures and see if they were there before.

Get off the pipe, seriously...
That doesn't look normal. That definitely looks like the metal is wrinkling. What type of driving have you been doing?

Re: is this normal (Dimitri_EG8 a.k.a. Dimi)
There are two layers of metal together on that part that support the structure of the front. It's common on alot of EK's... I have a bit on mine. Regardless, the thick stuff that supports those strut towers is underneath... the layer on top is just something Honda stretches over it to make the engine compartment look "clean." If the structure underneath flexes alot, like hard launches of frequent hard turns, the thin stuff on top flexes with it, but doesn't always go back to it's original form. You might want to consider some "a-bracing," I can't remember exactly what it's called... goes under the fender and connects the front part of the frame with the rest of the car near the door hinges.

I'm no expert but common sense tells me that if the metal changed shape that much that the paint would crack... Dry paint is not that flexible.

well I took a look at my girls Ek and her's has the same riples but not as much. So I don't know what to say. But for now, im gona look for some traction bars and try to keep as little stress into the chassis.
