Noob Question, what is EG, EK and are there any other letters i should know?
 

I just bought a civic and i'm trying to learn all i can about the car. i see a lot about civics but the letters EG and EK keep popping up. What do they mean and what other letters should i know about that correspond to civics?

Everyone wants to be japanese and call there cars by there japanese names which is

EG - 92 to 95 hatches
EK - 96 to 00 hatches

When infact there actually

EH - 92 - 95 hatches
and i dont know what 96-00 are

Then you have coupes where are EJ

a Del Sol is a EG though

Just look around and youll catch on dont worry.
