Noob to the honda world
Ok well here is the story. I used to have a 2000 subaru impreza 2.5rs. I totaled it the other night and a friend of mine knew of a 1993 Civic hatchback for sale cheap. The guy I bought it from bought a new car and needed money. The car has a cervini(sp?) s.s hood which im not too crazy about, dropzone coilovers, jdm foglights, rear bumper lip, exhaust, intake, short shifter, hatch waist spoiler and top spoiler, 2 sets of wheels. Oh and I forgot to mention its got a b16 and gsr trans . To most people it might not be too special but its the first time I have had a honda, let alone a swapped honda. And needless to say I have driven the car for about 5 hours now and Im in love!! I will post pics soon.

Good find. With gsr trans you have a better boost setup already, unless you are only running like <10 lbs, then b16 trans would be good. I'd like to see some pics too. Welcome!

What do you mean by downgrade? If you mean from a new car to this, Ill explain: I have always loved hatch's, before I bought the subaru I almost bought an ls vtec one, it was cheap. Its got good mods for a steal of a price, and i dont really see this as a downgrade from an all stock rs to the hatch. I mean besides power doors and windows its not much different.

congrats and welcome to the world of hondas. Pick your mods carefully as there is alot of junk out there. wire up a kill switch. thieves love hondas.
Ditch the ricer body parts to avoid the law and other wannabe street racers. Then decide how fast you wanna go...
All motor is awesome but for about the same $ boost will be faster. Since you already have a B16 swap and a gsr trans, id look into a decent turbo kit and run about 10lbs through it. GET it TUNED and you should be around 300 whp which is good to beat most V8's out there including mildly modded ones!
Have fun and welcome to honda-tech...To ensure you dont get flamed too much, always search before asking a question. lots of ******** here on HT...

Sell all the body stuff and get some good shocks and springs. Some nice wheels and a few touches will make it great. Already got a good drivetrain.

NO, but if I was should i be offended? What's that got to do with anything?
Of course subaru's are more powerful, but do you not love your honda? my buddy's wrx with his 360lb-ft torque would eat me up anyday of the week, but i'd much rather wait for my k20 than "upgrade". Subaru's are fast outta the box, Honda's just take some work
