Default Noob help

Is it worth it to upgrade my stock del sol 1.5 motor, with stuff like headers intake, maybe a turbo...or should I just save money for and engine swap????

If it is worth upgrading the stock motor what do you guys reccomend I do to it. (without getting ridiculous on $$$)

since i just read in your other post you recently blew up your stock 1.5 i'd suggest swapping the the d16z6 while you have a good oppurtunity and do a turbo d-series set-up i love my boosted b but i've always had a crush on a nice turbo D

So its probably best to leave it stock and save the $$$?

I already bought the 1.5 again cuz I need it running ASAP my corolla just **** the bed...

It's just that with the stock engine it was sooooo slow, and i see vids of del sols roasting cars online and I want my baby to do that too...but I guess I won't waste money putting into the stock motor I will save a few grand then, throw something fast in there...in a way I was hoping someone would say i could do it to the stock engine but I like to rush into ****...so I will patiently wait....thanks

it really depends on how much money you have, and mostly on how much time you have. it also depends where you live? if its always cold? does it snow? things like that really help answer questions. if your staying sohc then go boost, with some mods. or just go Bseries with a few bolt ons and you'll be happy with that. its all up to you
