Post non-vtec motor installed in a 98 civic ex vtec

Hello I need help, I have a non-vtec motor, In a car that was original vtec Is there away to splice into another circuit to get the check engine light to go out

No. Pull the code causing the CEL and fix the problem directly.

Well thats my problem I don't no how to fix it directly. I bought the car used and checking it out, there is two plugs near where the vtec solenoid and pressure switch should be, but not sure what to do next. thanks

I think you still have the vtec ecu thats why the the check engine light is on, cuz its looking for vtec. Try using a non-vtec ecu.

That's not what I asked you.
I asked you what ECU do you have. Ie a P28, P2P, P2E, etc.
You more than like have a VTEC ECU trying to run a non-VTEC engine.
