Default Non-Vtec D15b Crank

I have a Non-vtec D15b engine sitting around and I was wondering, since I just spun a bearing in my Vtec D15b, if the crank in the non-vtec is the same as the Vtec D15b.

Anyone know? My only guess is it probably is the same crank, I just wanna be 100% sure so I can order parts.

Unfortunately, I gave both my local and the main branch of US Honda Motor Co and they both told me that they can not get any information on the JDM engines. If anyone has any info that might be helpful please go ahead and post, other then that I'll go back to trying to search for a needle in a haystack.

The cranks are different. D15B vtecs use larger rod journals (the same as a Z6, but smaller main journals (like a D15B7/D15B8) There is no USDM crank you can use.

Yeah I understand that USDM cranks can't be used, what I'm saying is I have a JDM Non-Vtec D15b engine and I'm trying to see if the crank is the exact same as the JDM Vtec D15b.

JDM D15B non vtec cranks are exactly the same as a D15B7/D15B8 crank, so no they aren't the same and it wont work. The D15B Vtec crank is exclusive to that engine, its a real oddball.

Hmm.. Alright, just doesn't make sense to me expecially when it's the same exact block. Damn JDM engines.
