Default non vtec 98 b18b1 into non vtec 98 civic!!

My buddy just bought a non vtec 98 integra parts car for $500 and wants to take the b18b1 from it and put it into his non vtec 98 civic. What do we need to complete the swap?

I know we need to use the integra engine, tranny, axels, shift linkage but what else do we need?

RonJ, did you delete the FAQ sticky to troll me? Oh wait, nope, it's still there, people just decide not to read it...

https://honda-tech.com/honda-civic-d...tions-1998336/

Engine, transmission, axles, shift linkage, aftermarket B swap mounts (Yonaka is an effective option, if you're working on a budget), a 99-00 SI rear T bracket (P# 50827-S04-N10, ~$50 from the dealership), a 96-98 EX MT engine harness (can be found if you shop around for ~$100-$150), and the ECU from the donor car, and everything will plug in and go.

If you want the AC to work, you'll also need the AC bracket from a CRV. P# 38930-P7J-000, ~$75 from the dealership.

Now that I've held your hand through this, please unfuck yourself and put in just a tiny bit of effort before posting.

You spent 3 hours on Google? Bullshit. I just typed "B18B1 into 98 Civic" into Google, and literally the first four hits all directly answered your questions. I also linked you the FAQ sticky, where your question is answered. You are expected to put in a modicum of effort around here. So far, you have failed that test. I'll say it again, unfuck yourself.

Use your existing engine harness... in addition, you will need, (unless you buy an aftermarket mount set with a 3-bolt drivers' side mount), a '99-00 2-bolt left side engine bracket (part# 11910-P30-000). As stated above, the CRV P/S bracket will mount your existing SOHC P/S pump without any modifications... you will only have to change the pump/lines if you use a VTEC DOHC cylinder head.

You'll need a bit more than that but look in the hybrid forum FAQ and it will answer directly all your questions.

Sorry Hero, my post should have started by saying: " In addition to what the Racist has stated above..."

You'll also have to wire in the secondary 02 if you go the ex harness route see here
Also you'll have some adapting to do on your IAT sensor as well.
