Default non-abs prop valve

I have a 1994 civic ex with no ABS. The other day i was street tuning the car and hit the brakes and heard a noise and now the left front brake is grabbing way harder than the left and will lock up with little pedal movement. The car has a new MC and pads and rotors. Could it be the caliper or the prop valve? what prop valve should be on the car, 40/40?
