Noise fixed under hood but....I dont even think I needed the freakin part
so in the previous thread:
https://honda-tech.com/zero...37354
Anyways so their was this mysterious noise under the hood. Long story short, I gave it to this mechanic down the street and he was suppost to take a look at it and call me in the morning and let me know what the problem was, and he would then quote a price and I would consider it. Instead my mom wakes me up this morning and tells me that she told the guy to go ahead and fix the noise for roughly about $250. I was like WTF I probably could have got whatever needed done for cheaper with a mechanic friend of mine.
Anyways my ******* mom couldnt even tell me what the guy said was wrong with the car, and I found out today on the receipt that it was an "ac idler pulley" and my AC HASNT WORKED EVER SINCE I GOT THE ******* CAR. so Im assuming that I didnt need this AC Idler pulley? or am I wrong. I know 100% that I could have got this **** cheaper(they charged $60 for the part and 190$ for labor), but I just want some satisfaction that I acctually NEEDED this part.
Thank you.
Car is 1992 civic LX 192k miles.

well if your a/c didnt work and you werent planning on fixing it you could have just removed all of your a/c components. only thing you would have to pay for is the proper removal and disposal of the freon.
