no vtec engagement problem need help..

Default no vtec engagement problem need help..

Ive got a 99ek hatch with gsr bottom and pr3 head.. only cel's im gettin is 41 and 65.. i have a p2t ecu, ive pinned off the ckf sensor. ive made sure the vtec solenoid works but still no vtec?? any suggestions??? any help would be appreciated thanks

1.) obvious, butt common mistake, make sure the oil level is proper.
2.) does your speedometer work correctly?

Yes i jus changed the oil and finished the swap last night. speedometer works fine too.. ive even tried running a new wire from the ecu to the solenoid still nothing.. only cel i get is the primary and secondary o2

dumb question but you do have a vtec ecu correct?

yes sir i have the p2t from a 99-00 si.. only thing that i can think of is maybe the ecu is bad? but it worked fine on the motor before.. im gonna try my friends obd1 p72 cause i have a jumper harness and see if that works but i didnt use the stock harness from the car i used the one that came with the motor cause both were obd2

Is there anythin else i could be missing?? someones done this swap before and ran into the same problems im sure?? its a obd2b and no vtec engagement but car runs fine other then that! please help

Jus tried my friends obd1 chipped p28, used a jumper harness and ran vtec line to solenoid.. couldnt get any cel's to pop up and still no vtec?? someone help! solenoid is working.. ran line to battery and it opens (clicks) but cannot get vtec to engage.. someones gotta have an idea
