No start at stock ignition timing
During cold starts, I have to advance the timing by a lot (by rotating the distributor counter-clockwise) to get the car started. What could be some underlying issues causing this? Could a bad sensor cause this? Bad ECTS? I have no CELs.
After the engine is a bit warm, I can get the car started on stock ignition timing.
Engine is D16Y8.

Re: No start at stock ignition timing
Have you taken a peek at the cap and rotor to make sure they look good? Also, maybe the igniter or coil is starting to go.
