Default No start, Fuse blown possibly?

Ill try to be specific.

Last week i put in a kill switch on my fuel pump.

While driving today my car broke down as if some one turned the switch off.

I flipped the switch multiple times but my car would not turn on.

I then pulled the switch out and reconected the fuel pump wire with out it.
But still nothing.

Car has power.
cranks but no start.
(Kill switch is on yellow wire with green stripe)
(1998 civic DX hatch)

Im guessing some how a fuse blew.. My question is which fuse would this be ?

Any other input?
Im sure this isnt the first time this has happened to someone

Im just hoping its not something unrealated with the fuel pump wire leading to more diagnostics

What wires did you use to install the kill switch?

Does the fuel pump prime? Is there spark at the plugs? Any CEL codes?

Yellow wire with green stripe coming from fuel pump
No CEL

I dont know how to check for spark or if the fuel pump primes

It sounds like im trying to start it as if the switch was flipped off if that helps.. Is there any fuses i can check ?
Should i use a voltmeter to check the wire ? mine is broken but i could probably find one to use tomorrow morning.

when you try to turn on the car turn the igniton on and listen for a click from the back of your car and for spark there are a couple tests you can do and to check if its getting fuel

one you can pull out the spark plug wire stick the plug in it and have a buddy turn over the car while you hold the wire with the plug in it to the valve cover and look for spark

to check if you are getting fuel i usually just listen for the fuel pump and also have someone turn the car over while i loosen the bolt on the fuel filter and see if it sprays out either ont he filter or the rail

When you turn the key from off to ON(II), you should hear the fuel pump prime (buzz) for 2 seconds.

Click the spark link in my signature to learn how to check for spark.

The fuel pump is protected by 15A dash fuse 13.

This tells you that your wire splice job was not very good or the switch is bad. Make sure you solder the wires and shrink wrap insulate them.

This exactly the switch you ran must of not been insulated well make sure you use shink wrap on everything you splice to protect it also me personally ontop of shrink wrap i use electircal tape just to be sure it will hold up

My car normally takes longer to start if i am under a qaurter tank Which leads me to beleive that the fuel pump was never performing at its best??
My car has half a tank of gas right now.

And if it matters my car broke down while driving up a hill

Did you turn the key to ON(II)? Do the dash warning lights illuminate?

Is 15A hood fuse 44 blown?

Unplug the main relay. In the free connector, jump terminal 7 to terminal 4 with a jumper wire. Does the fuel pump run? Do the same test for terminals 5 and 4 with the key in ON(II).

Did you turn the key to ON(II) before jumping 5 to 4? If so, this^ tells you to recheck fuse 13. Check for battery voltage to body ground at both top test tabs with the key in ON(II).
