no start
i have a turbo'd b18c and it wont start.. this is what i did, went to wire the gm3 bar map sensor in so i cliped the existing map sensor wires and rewire them correctly to the 3bar, i replaced my chip for my ecu with the correct chip (ecu was still hooked up to engine harness) and when i tried to start the car wouldnt start, it attempts to start but wont. so i rewire'd the factory map sensor in and reinstalled the previous ecu chip. and now the car still will not start. like i said it tries to turn over, but wont actually start. the brand new plugs are gap'd corectly (i believe 35ish) and soaked in gas, but they are also a little black on the end of them.. anything thing will help me right now and ideas on what to check or replace ? thank you in advance. i know there are helpful guys on here and i have searched for someone with this problem but come up with nothing. thank you again in advance.

Re: no start (crick_james)
why would you change the chip in an ecu while its still plugged into the harness?
there is a battery positive wire that is always hot to the ecu..
unless you disconnected the battery..
you have fuel, so im assuming you have spark? did you check?
was the engine running before the map sensor swap?
