Default no speedometer/tachometer

Well, i swapped a d16y8 into my 98' civic HX...

THe y8 is from a 00 civic... using the apropriate P2P ecu (OBDII-B).

Anyways, yes the speed sensor on the tranny is hooked up, but my tach and spedometer dont work...but my gas and temperature gauges do.

Also my axle clicks every time the wheel turns over (we assume from a mistake on the install), until about 5mph then it stops. Dunno if its related, just figured i'd throw it in there.

My car stalls when i push in the clutch to slow down before my car warms up. i assume its because of the low RPM? I dont konw, throw suggestions out here.

Oh, and when i have my radio on, but its just on static, every time my wheel clicks (as it turns over) my static clicks too, dunno if they're related.

Anyways, does the gauge cluster and dash **** have anythign to do with seperate ECUs? im lost, any suggestions on any of my problems would be nice.

That is a tough one without seeing or hearing it... I suspect wrong installation of the tranny...

check your grounds. jack you car up then rotate the tire and check out the clicking noise from your axle. it could be your axle boot got ripped and dirts got inside, or the wheel bearing.
