Default no spark problem? need help

I've got a 97 coupe dx and im not getting any spark. The fuse is good but im not getting anything out of my external coil. I tried swaping coils with my buddy to see if that might be the problem but it wasn't. Could it be the icm?? Need help this is a virgin motor just got it back from the shop

Didn't you just get it back from a shop? Why can't they check it?

If you check for power (use voltmeter or test light) on the yel wire with black stripe ( I need to check my helms for the ek but I know its this wire for ef and eg) going into the dizz this will tell if your igniter is getting power and if so I would say the igniter went south

I used a volt meter on the blk/ylw wire going into the dizz at the plug and had power then took the cap off and had power going into the icm win the the ignition in the run position. I just noticed too that my check engine light isn't coming one when I try to start it
