No spark, no CEL, no main relay

No CEL during start
This is really confusing me. I did a swap on my friends CX and it ran fine. I put the swap in another better condition shell. The wiring in the car though needed work though, the guy that had it was on a cutting spree. I spliced a few dash harnesses together since it was cut so bad and made one harness, tested it and worked fine. I get everything together and went to start it. The CEL doesn't flash on and off like it's supposed to and the main relay doesn't click. It does nothing. I cranked it before I noticed this and no spark either. It's like there's no ECU.When I installed the P30 ECU I reset it and the CEL came on then off like normal. I cranked the car and it fired and started for a about 2 seconds then shut off, back to what it was doing before, except now when I reset the ECU it won't do anything. What could this be? Suggestions?

It was the dash harness I had to do. The main chassis harness is ok. I had to add the cluster wires, fuse box wires, and switches, soldered each one then taped individually. Wiring i know is good, went over it again tonight...I'm stuck.

It wouldn't be the MAP. The car isn't even going through the start up process, like CEL flashing on then off right when you turn on the car. I'm starting to think the ECU is fried. It's not blowing any fuses either...

Re: (PandaHatch)
I had this problem too... no spark.. It was my ECU, but mine was fried.
I sniffed the outside cover of it.. and.. well.. it smelled really bad.
opened it up and.. ugh.
Check your ECU, make sure its not fired..

That's exactly what it seems like. Like when you turn the key to the ON position with no ECU plugged in and it doesn't do anything...that's what it's doing with the ECU in. Like I said, I reset it once, it started for a second and died. Now it's acting like there's no ECU plugged in at all.

Ok, tonight I got the car running. All I really did was mess with the connectors at the fire wall and under the dash and made sure everything was plugged in. I t was runniung for about 20 sec with the CEL on, but when I gave it gas the CEL blinked and it died. I go and turn the key back to the on position and it's doing the same thing it did. The ECU is now ruled out. This is really messed up...any other suggestions?
