Default no spark

hey guys i just got done rebuilding my motor (d15b7)rings bearings gaskets i pulled the head didnt remove the dizzy.i connected all my wires and im getting gas you can smell the gas.i sprayed gas into the intake and it still wouldnt fire so i pulled a spark plug and put it on the plug wire and put it next to a ground and it didnt spark.i checked all my wires everything is plugs in and my grounds are all hooked up to.what else could it be?

your dizzy is probably bad. i just changed one for a friend he had the same problem.

you didnt take off the dist.? take it off and make sure the rotor is not 180 off

the thing is before i rebuilt the motor is it would start every once and a while like a ground was loose and it would make a contact and then it would start and run fine
