Default No spark....

First off this is my car… b16a (jdm)

Ok I was chilling with some friends... They pop my hood and tell me to start it... I asked if they did anything thing and they all promised me they did nothing to it (they just wanted to here it run)... I try to start it... is spuders and dies... I YELL WTF.. they say sorry and tell me they put everything back.... Does nothing will not start…. now I have no spark at all not from the wires, cap, or roter... they say that alls they did was pull one plug wire and that is it and they put everything back the second time I tried to start it….. I have no blown fuses or anything like that wires are new (ngk) and new oem plugs... any one knows what happened... could they of fried my distributor... and when I tried to remove the roter (yes I removed the screw) if will not come off…

Anyone have any ideas…

did you follow the link to the write-up? You can replace the coil and ignitor if you need to....but you need to check them first following the instructions that I linked.

I wouldn't just blindly replace them, I'm more a fan of replacing the parts that are broken.

BTW... If they tried to start the car with the plug wires off and there was no where for the spark to go it could possibly fry the coil.

Make your "friends" buy you a new distributor since they're the reason it fried in the first place.
