i just finished my brake line tuck and bled the brakes, and the pedal feels fine when the car is off but when i turn the car on, there's no more pressure behind the pedal. does this sound like vacuum leak or a bad cylinder or what?

i have no leaks from my prop valve or my brake lines. and the only vacuum line i can think of that i've messed with is the brake booster line, which i trimmed much shorter but made sure i kept the valve inside with the arrow on the line pointing the correct way.

Was everything functioning normally before the line tuck? I assume yes, but i had to post something...I am pondering this and will let you know when something of value comes to mind

yea,everything before was basically all stock with like 200,000+ miles on the motor, but ran strong. thanks for posting though. lemme know if you think of something.

It sounds like ou need to keep bleeding out the lines. When the car is off the pedal is hard, but as soon as you get some vaccum assist the pedal gets soft right?

yea. so keep bleeding it? can you tell me the correct way to bleed?

Then it sounds like you've still got some air in there. Keep chasing it out. The correct way to bleed is to start at the furthest line from the MC (RR line), then the next shortest until you're done. So start at the RR line, then go to the LR, RF, LF.

pressure when the cars off means the check valve is working...so no vacuum leak.
