So yeah, the fuel pump is not getting any power.

I tried 2 different main relay and re-soldered every connections as per the "quick fix" suggested somewhere else. It's possible both relays are bad. Which pin of the relay do I need to check for power going to the fuel pump?

Maybe the pump is just shot, not sure which pin it is to check for power.

Tried 2 different pumps then decided to hook the voltmeter to the pump plug. That's when I realized it wasn't getting any power.

your ecu fuse is blown. replace it

very possible, but here's the qeustion, why did it blow i thats the case

I highly doubt that's the issue, but I'll still check it.
Which fuse is it? Where is it located?

agree but you never now until you look. So have you checked that there is no power to the fuel pump or is there power and it's not priming?

I disconnected the harness from the fuel pump, hooked a voltmeter into the harness, turned ignition on and off, and got nothing. Not even a flicker on the voltmeter.

Where's is the ECU fuse? Which # is it? Is it just a regular blade fuse?

under the hood fuse box. mine on my ej is at the bootom If im remembering correctly. just look under the hood you'll find it.

Ok, according to a manual I'd have to check:

Under dash; fuse #18 &gt; PGM-FI ECU Main Relay 7.5A
Under hood; fuse #31 &gt; PGM-FI Main Relay 15A
Under hood; sue #32 &gt; PGM-FI ECU, Clock 7.5A

Check all ur grounds I was having this same problem and the ground on thr thermostat housing wasn't tight

So here's the latest.
I removed the main relay
Jumped wire 5and7, turn on the ignition and fuel pump started running.

This leads me to beleive I have 2 deffective main relays(cause I tried 2 relays) but I'd like someone who knows more than me to confirm this.

put in another relay. make sure the connections are in good shape

I've seen this issue a time or two before and never figured it out. Eventually I ended up hardwiring the fuel pump to the fuse box under the dash. There's a pin there that gives appropriate voltage when the key is turned on.

hey kendall can you shed a bit of light on your hardwiring the fuel pump....i got the same problem
