No Interior Lights, Fuses ok??
Hi Guys,
For some reason the interior lights have never worked in my car since owning it.
The fog lights do not work either. I have checked the fuses & bulbs which are all good. I know the fogs are gonna run from a relay which is probably why they don't work but wondered if interior light run off a relay?
Car is a 94 Civic SiR EG6
Thanks

does your car have the map light in front of the sunroof also? anyway drop the
interior light down from the roof.(pop off the cover and remove two nuts 8mm or
10mm i cant remember) then once the light is down take a multimeter and check
the wires at the plug on the back of the light, the whiteish wire should show 12v,
the green/red should show ground when you open the doors, and one of the nuts
you removed is its constant ground source. if all this checks out, then look on the
back of the light and there should be a couple of small phillips screws, remove
these carefully, as to not loose the parts behind the cover they hold on. this will
allow you acces to the inside of the switch. their should be a couple of metal circles
and a slider that makes contacts on all them. if these arent clean and shiny, get
your mom or gitlfriends, or yours if your a girl? fingernail file and scuff these
contacts until clean and shiny , then clean with alcohol and reassemble. also
usually an eg6 has a section in the gauge cluster that shows each door and hatch
open. if this is the case the wire colors i told you maybe a little diff. but should
yeild the same results. if your wire at the light arent reading correct then check
the pinswitches in the door jamb and make sure their grounding the wires
connected to them when the doors are opened. i just woke up so if ths **** is
jumbled or i missed something sorry. also post pics of your car...please
