So the starter won't turn (crank) the engine with the key in ON(III)/START?

Can you push start it, assuming it's manual?

Sounds like the little rubber stopper that presses on the starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal has broken and fallen out.

You have full power right? As in the alternator is charging when running...

Jump the two wire connector with a paper clip (clutch interlock switch)

Make sure you are checking the rubber stopper for the top starter switch rather than the stopper for the lower cc switch on the clutch pedal. See Hero's diagrams.

when you say you changed the distributor, did you change the whole distributor or just the cap?

1) Unplug the solenoid wire at the starter and have a buddy hold the key in ON(III)/Start while you measure voltage to body ground at the unplugged connector.

2) With the key off, measure voltage to body ground at the large wire for the starter motor.

Post the voltages.

What's the voltage across the two battery posts? Based on your voltage readings, one problem may be that your battery is dead.

I already took it to autozone and they tested it twice and it came out good. I also noyiced my fuse was popped for the hazard, I tried a 10a and it blows it right away, I then tried a 30a and it heated up, do you guys think a short with my lights or something similar would cause a no start? thanks.

Stay on topic. What's the voltage across your 2 battery posts?
