nj residents... do cops check under the car for cats when pulled over for non-racing reasons?

not during the 30 or so tickets i received while up there, at one point with a loud *** dc sports exhaust.....but i moved a few years ago...(and manypoints ago)

i can't imagine a jersey cop doing that though, they seem more worried about getting shot at.
