Default nitrous injection

My brother just bought a 1996 civic hatch back with a SOHC V-tech 1.6 i was wonder how much work is required to inject direct port nitrous? How many componants will he have to replace for maximum dependability? Do you have any preferd kits to work with. info is greatly appreciated.

d16 usually can't handle more than 50shot without any internal mods. you would have to build motor up to handle more than 75. you would need cam, headgasket, valves, alot of bolt-ons....etc...then you could prolly handle 75-85

I would recommend that for a D16. But if you do make sure first a fore most that the car's fuel system is up to par as is the ignition. I have a 96 hatch with a B16 motor running a 65shot dry kit. I upgraded the fuel pump to a holley 255lph forced induction pump and did the msd6al conversion before I ever sprayed it. I learned that lesson the hard way on my 92 si. Good luck to ya.

depends if you can tune or not.

Stock injectors only good for 65 shot anyways.
