Nitrous On Engine With 300K?
I want to add a little bit of punch to my stock DX, it's got no power and I can't afford an engine swap right now. So I feel if I add a bit of nitrous oxide to my hatch I can give it a little kick in the ***.
I'm not trying to be a ricer here btw, I don't want to blow my engine.
My hatch has close to 300K kms on it, I was told it was rebuilt but I'm not sure, is it a good idea to add nitrous to it? Or should I build it up a bit
Should I run some other mods with the nitrous? If so what?

Re: Nitrous On Engine With 300K? (RR98DX)
DX's don't like nitrous. Don't get crazy, stay with like a 50 shot if you absolutly have to have gas. But think about this. That is $500 you will spend on a kit, that is like 1/6th of a motor swap. So just tell your self to keep saving and eventually you will have a fast car.

I along with 95% of the people on this board(maybe not now with super sohc man) will say "Do the Swap." Then Naws turbo supercharge whatever. Start with a better platform. You can almost do a swap with the cost of a i/h/e. That may be stretching it but it can be done.
