I was cruisin around on eBay and came across this EK.

Was curious to know if this belonged to someone here on H-T, because it is very nice and clean. It really does look just like a stock CTR (except for not having a red valve cover). If I had the clams, I'd ****** that hatch!

as ugly as bra's are, ive been seriously thinkin of getting one. my constant commute on the 91 has left my fairly new paint job pitted with rock chips. it sucks.

i agree, besides that its clean. a ctr motor swap and suspension does not make a ej hatch a ek9. (and this one has a b16a, not even a R motor)

thats like people who put eg6 vin tags on american CX's. lol. to each his own though.

Its there for a reason. To protect the bumper from rocks and chips in the paint. I'm sure he is including it when you buy the car.

i was thinkign about gettin one too.
especially after this winter hit hard, and my ocssional trip from school to home is a long 3 hr drive. with many rocks\.
my grill has seen the effects

i never said i thought it was a CTR, i said it looks like a CTR.

and for those of you who had nothing better to say than the bra looks stupid, user 'I can't believe this ****' said it best:my coupe has a bra. so what? it's also got 235k mi on it, and if it weren't for the bra, i'm sure it would have needed repainting at least 3 times now.

some of you are nothing but ****** haters! why cant you just appreciate nice clean work anymore?? there's nothing rizzice about the car -- it's just clean. so it's got a B16A instead of a B16B. so ******* what? 8-10 hp less and a 500rpm lower redline. whooptie-*******-do.

the bottom line is that it is a nice clean hatch. by posting it, i thought some of you would appreciate how nice clean mods look, and to find out if the seller was a member of the board. i guess i was wrong.

If you don't like the look of the bra, just get the 3M clear ones...they're only like 100-200 to get the front covered.

These 3M clear bra is a good investment. It protects the same as a bra, but you can't eben see it. A guy I know got one on his RSX type S, can't see it and still no chips.

bra's actully due damage themselves. they are not perfectly tight, so when driveing on the roads the wind causes them to flap up and down and after a while it ***** up the paint. I have seen it done on 2 different cars. i guess its one of those things that has its up and down points personally i'd stay away from it
