Default S2000 Cluster in Civic EG 92-95 FACTS!?

Hi!

I want to swap the S2000 cluster in my Civic EG ! Now my question (I already used the search) who can tell me, WHAT has to be changed and what can be used by only repinning from EG wiring to S2000 ? Someone said that the whole S2000 wiring harness is needed?? Whit all sensors ... ?

Sorry for my bad English

thanks for answers Felix

That is going to be one hell of a project. I never heard anyone doing it to an eg but if you search under ek or dc2 I remember someone has done it before to one of those.

Try searching under "archived"...

I haven't looked at these threads, but judging by just the title, they should help.

From what I've heard, everything but the speedo works. (RPM/fuel/temp/seat belt off indicator light, etc)

you can put a 94-01 integra cluster in your eg...

hell, I've seen em in 1990 civics

I have one in my ek and love it...I don't the the s2k cluster is worth it if the speedo doesn't work...kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me.

Thanks for your answers. I already looked "archived" but there are no real facts - for me ! Thanks anyway.

If everything but the speedo works - this will be no problem..

Who can tell me something new?

Thanks Felix

There is nothing new to know. A friend of mine did it about a year ago and everything worked but the speedo.

@97itr86

Everything worked without repinning? Or are new sensors needed?

thanks Felix

Yeah the best I remember it did. B18C5-EH2 knows a little better than I do. It is a friend of ours. But I don't remember him repinnining it. It looked hella sweet.

No answer until now

But I found the "difference" between the S2000 and the Civic EG VSS ! I can show pictures here (sorry not 56k friendly ) Maybe someone can tell me how to convert the signal from the EG VSS to something the s2000 cluster can use?!

The VSS is on the right top of the pic from Civic and left top (parts #14,18,26)

Someone can help ??

Thanks felix

From talking to Tom(b18c5-eh2) he said it took a hell of a lot of work. He said the speedometer will never work no matter what.

Are you kidding me? Stack has huge bling factor.

Not that buying a stack because its expensive is cool or anything. . .

Besides, didn't someone already do the s2000 cluster in an eg? I remember a white or silver hatch with spoon wheels and lip with s2000 cluster.

Hey... I´m driving slow 90Hp! B15 Engine! No race car ! Oiltemp and 10000rpm aren´t interesting for me. I think the s2000 cluster looks better then "stack"...

Putting an S2000 cluster in EG is no problem, but until everything is working, there are MANY problems! I know someone puttin it in Civic EJ (german one, too) but no one knows anything about how he did it... (the temperature gauge won´t work in his car) Picture here...

When I finished my swap I will put pictures here... A video, too.. If someone is interested...

Sorry my crappy english

That guy gets the best tach ever in his car and he still
needs the 3" monster?

Im still wondering why the vss will never work?

I still wouldn't do it, its never going to mount up right.
I don't think that the wiring would be all that hard, and
if you had the pinout, it would be like wiring a deck in.

If you think only repinning will be all - you´re wrong! It will NEVER work only by repinning! Nothing... maybe the lights lol The fuel sensor tells ****! Water Temperature would show NOTHING and speedo won´t work not, too Just that, what everybody here sayd before
