NGK
Hey guys,
I was looking at the NGK site for spark plugs and i noticed that they only have the V-Power spark plugs for my engine which is a D16Z6 but when I checked the D16Y8 they have the IX iriduim and the Double platinum. Now im running with bosch platinum 4 with brand new NGK wires and I want to change the spark plugs bc i cant stand bosch. SO here is the question can I use the IX iriduim or the Double platinum even if they are for the Y8 and which would you suggest for my engine considering I have a heavy foot.
Thanks for your help

Re: NGK (93SiVtec677)
I'd just get stock plugs and change them more often...
There was someone on here who tried LOTS of different plugs and the best one's in his opinion were generic champion plugs... he said they were great... I've heard the same thing from a lot of people...
The platnum is just for corrosion prevention... it's so you don't have to change your plugs as often... and the more than one electrod/v groove thing is really better suited to coilpack igntion systems... where EACH cylinder has a coil... our's don't produce that much current so lots of times you end up with a bunch of crappy sparks instead of one strong one...
Most here would recomend you save your money when it comes to iridium plugs... stick with stock ngks... they work just fine...
