next problem-CV joint. How tough?

Is the replacement Of the CV joint in a 92 civic better left to the pro's, or can do-it-yourselfer manage to get through it? Any and all input would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

you might as well just replace the whole axle. its not hard to do at all.

here is a link to a clutch replacement faq but it shows how to remmove axles too...should take about 45 min.

Just get new axles, that way you dont have to pull the joint apart, repack the bearings yadda yadda yadda. I think its like 40$ for a new axle or something like that. but yeah 30-45 min. If youve ever unstaked your hubs then you pretty much know what you need to do, just have 2 new cotter pins per axle replaced (lower balls have castlated nuts) also its a good idea to get new hub nuts (its never good to reuse a staked nut)
