I was wondering if a Newer (2000+) stock radio would work in a '92.

Yes, but you will need to re-wire it, since Honda changed their radio plugs around '98 or so. The wiring diagrams can be found here (Adobe PDF file).

yes, you can buy a harness or two to make it work. check out your local car audio store to buy the harnesses
