newbie question about tail light and headlight between 97 and 99 hatch
im buying this 97 ek hatch from a small dealership and he got 2 ek hatch a 97 and 99. what i notice, they had different lights both front and rear. i read somewhere that poeple who does the SI front bumper needs to change the fenders and hood to maek them work.
Q1 - is this true?
Q2 - if so, will this affect the fitment if i used the 99 civic hatch front light and swap it to my 97 hatch?
Q3 - is it the same story on the rear since the 99 dont have the amber part and i want mine to look clean?
your help is very much appreciated.

A1. You will need hood, fenders, headlights, grille, and bumper from a 99-00 Civic.
A2. If you don't swap the radiator support, you will need to notch the 99-00 bumper where it hits the 96-98 radiator support.
A3. The tail lights bolt up without modification.

The "Si front" is just the '99-'00 Civic front. They're all the same, only the Si gets the front lip standard and has a different upper grille.
There are plenty of threads on here showing exactly how to do the front end conversion.
Looks like BlueIntegraBoy got the rest.
