Newbie here. Engine Idle Question
Hey guys. Just bought a Civic with the D15B7 in it. The only thing that concerns me is how low the thing idles. I cleaned the throttle body, and blew out the fairly new K&N breather but it still idles around 450-600. It's generally pretty steady between there but I just don't like it.
Anybody run into this same issue? Just wondering if there's an easy fix.
Thanks!

Re: Newbie here. Engine Idle Question
follow the correct idle set up and relearn procedure - you can google it. involves unplugging the iac, disconnecting battery, and adjusting base idle.
also check ignition timing - google as well.
and you may also want to run a ground wire from your coolant housing to the battery negative - something like a 12 ga should work - these cars do have ground problems that will affect idle.
