Newb cam ? (Already did search: No results)
Will CTR and/or ITR cams fit in a second gen b16? If so, how's the idle, power response etc.? I'm not trying to be super fast or spend the extra 2-3 bills on Skunks. I just want some more power.
Thanks for the help.

They will bolt into a SIRII B16A with no problems, with stock valvetrain dont rev over stock, you can rev to 8600 with the ITR valvetrain. in that motor the power increase will be decent, with a V-AFC you will be able to extract good power from that setup.

ITR exhaust cam and CTR intake. Great combo. I can't give you exact results, because that all depends on the tuning. I can tell you that you won't be disappointed by that mod. Just get it tuned right and you will be alright. Either way those cams will be better than the B16 cams.

-Yes
If so, how's the idle,
-Stock
power response etc.?
-look for a couple of hp in the mid and up top
I'm not trying to be super fast or spend the extra 2-3 bills on Skunks. I just want some more power.
-suggestion... might want to check on new springs too to be safe with the more aggressive cams.
Thanks for the help.

PS. a friend of mine has ctr cams with a jun valvetrain. He is actually losing power due to the stiffer springs. This setup was tuned with hondata. Ill get you some numbers later...
oh. this is in a 99-00 si.
