New valves but still leaking compression
I'm building a LSV. Head had bent valves, so I bought some Omni valves. Did valve adj to factory specs .007" int .006 exh or vice versa forgot which was which. Did a compression check before I did initial start up. Had the headers off and could hear leak from exh valves on all cylinders. Opened throttle body didn't really hear anything. Did a leak down test and got like 60% leakage on most cylinders.
Had new valves, valve seals, cam caps torqued to spec. Timing is as close to dead on as possible (LSV). Maybe it was too tight and valves are slightly open. Anyone else have this problem with their LSV valves? Just looking for second opinions to see if I over looked anything
