when you say eg6 is this b16 rhd? or do you mean d16z6?

well do you drive a lot and worry about gas mileage? in that case, get a non-VTEC (D15B7, D16Y7, etc...) tranny.
well my suggestion would be to get a D16Y8 tranny, or a D16Z6 tranny.
i know you're probably going to ask whats the difference, so here...
they are basically the same. they are both SOHC VTEC transmissions. the only difference between the Y8 and Z6 tranny, is that they Y8 tranny uses steel shift forks, and the Z6 uses aluminum shift works. which makes the Y8 tranny better because it is stronger.
