Re: new toys for the dx today! pics (b20bastard)
they dont fit sotck dx's, only 5lug equipted cars
The NSX calipers have the exact same mounting points as the Accord Wagon calipers, a well known conversion for Nissin caliper knuckle cars. If someone has done the "type R" brake conversion on a Civic or an Integra, those calipers will bolt right up and use even the same pads.
But, if you wanna go cheapo - they're the same calipers as on the 1995 Acura Legend Coupe (just without the NSX stamp).
I hope you were kidding, B20 bastard.

Is that blink sarcasm? Cause if it's not, it's BS.

so does that mean if I've already converted the hubs and spindles on my '95 DX hatch to EX spec, then would those calipers bolt up? TIA

nope

Look, B20bastard:
The caliper bracket on the Accord Wagon Caliper can be ground down 5mm to make it fit the EX and Integra knuckle. This is the EXACT same caliper on the Integra Type R and the Civic Type R. This is known as the "Type R brake upgrade" and does not require the Type R hub or knuckle, and doesn't require any five lug conversion.
Obviously, you've never heard of it, or don't know about it.
Brian Hasty sells it with the caliper bracket already ground down:

I've known of that for years now too.
IMO the 5-lug is nothing more than a show thing. For less money you can have better brakes since that's what most people try and say their 5-lug is for. I wish they'd just admit that they think it's "tiiiite" and more os a status thing.
If it's only about better brakes, then read that link there or just get the FastBrakes conversion and add rear discs if you feel the need to.
