Re: New tires (clintwsi)
All are good choices, I personally run the Yokos for my DD, Azenis for the track. The new azenis will be out Q1 of 2005.
Why do you need a camber kit, how low are you? Have you had an alignment done? The cord showing could be caused by bad toe. Camber doesn't wear tires (unless an extreme drop), toe does.

But do you know how much? If it's less than 2*, you should be fine. I'm running 2* in the rear, 1.7* in the front with no abnormal wear.
Did you have an alignment done after the GC install, or before you put the new tires on? Do you know if they set the toe to 0?

Re: New tires (EX_AutoXer)
i used the h&r race (2.25fr and 2r) and dont have a camber kit, and i didnt do the washer trick. i do have negative camber, but my tires havent worn abnormally.
i just got 205/50 712's on my SI wheels and theyre good..theyre good in the rain too. i used to have the dunlop sp5000 asy's, and those were great in dry weather and OK in rain...with the 712's, theyre just mediocre dry and wet..
i only got em cause i got all 4 for $100...if it were up to me though, id go with toyo t1's

Spoken like someone who's never owned them. They're loud and wear fast. They're not that bad in the rain, but if you live anywhere that it snows, forget them. If you aern't tracking the car, just get something else. The Falken Ziex 512s are fairly nice tires for daily driving, but I don't know if they make them in a good size for you.

Mine are FANTASTIC. Wonderful grip, even in the rain. And I drive in the rain a lot. P205/40/ZR16 83W.
There new. Toyo Proxes 4. They got all this new design and ****. They work wonderfully, and i think u can get em on a 15" too, but my tires were like 85$ a piece installed, balanced, and mounted and ****. This shop in Cumming, GA did it for me, he was a good guy.

Re: New tires (clintwsi)
My personal choice is Bridgestone Pole Positions SO-3's - they were on sale all LAST month at tirerack.com for less than $80.00 a tire.
Have had them on my lowered 93 hatchfor almost 4 years. Nothing IMO is better.
However they are not made in the size you are looking for.
In that case.. Goodyear F1 GS-D3 would be my next choice.
No matter your decision (your $$$, your choice) your car is ONLY as good as the tires that contact the ground.

Re: New tires (bm3r)
i work at a tire company and personally you can't beat falken ziex's. i like the kumho's but they are a bit noisy. multiple customer comebacks raving about how good the ziex's traction is especially in the rain. and they will be around 50-60 a tire.
