Default New Skunk2 Sport Shocks????

well i was looking around in Jhp's website and came across these? the quality looks really good and so does the price. Haven't heard about these yet and wanted some feedback on how they perform, and also comparisons to lets say the kyb agx? I read the info and it seems like the skunk2 shocks aren't adj. It looks like a good deal especially if your talking about quality.

heres the link...

Im running KYB AGX with Skunk2 adj. c/o on the stiffest setting. The ride is bouncy, but thats on the stiffest setting. I haven't had a problem with them at all. Im riding on stock rims/tires(195/65/14) with about a 1 finger gap front and back. For the price I would definitely try out the new Skunk2 shocks. Skunk2 makes good products.

i have the kyb agx's also paired with GC's and they ride great with the softest setting all around. I travel alot so i like the comfort haha. Its been about a year and half now and my agx's are starting to go out. There still holding up but not like before. Looking at the skunk2s shocks they look like good quality, i just want to know if they run really stiff or not?

Yeah i hear ya, they seem pretty new so i dont know how many people on here would have them and be able to give their opinion on them. You could perhaps call up skunk2 and tell them what you have and what you plan on pairing their shocks up with to give you somewhat of an idea on how they will ride. If you get them let me know how they ride. Im looking to do a new shock/spring set up and want to try and go with something other than koni/gc.

As you may have read; Skunk2 now has a line of Sport Shocks. We manufactures try our best to make products that compliment each other and sometimes we get so caught up that we miss an opportunity here or there... In the case of these shocks, I guess you can see we are a little late to the party, one positive aspect of being late to market is that we have had a chance (like you) to see what others have done well and what they have fallen short on.

Skunk2 has been doing a ton of Market Research, R&D, and Testing for this new group of items. We have figures that show and support our decision to make a non-adjustable short stroke performance replacement strut and we feel that when used w/ our already popular S2 Lowering Springs and S2 Coil-Over kits, you will get the best matched performance possible. You will find very little feedback on this product because these NEW S2 Sport Shocks were just made avail. last week... it will take some time before you will get consumer feedback.

I am willing to give you any info I can on this and any S2 products. I can be contacted through this thread and or by phone (during business hours) at 951-808-9888 Ext. 208 I should be able to shed light on any questions you will have being my car and I were the guinea pigs! I can personal speak, from experience, on the qualities and advantages of this product.

Please post the questions in this thread and refrain form IM or PM so that we can document the questions and answer in a helpful manner. A FAQ Post if you will.

Thank you,
Robert Green
