1. what all would i have to do to convert my 90 integra to vtech

2. my home boy wrecked his 91 integra the motor is still good and he owns a 95 hatch and he wants to know if he could take the motor from his integra and put it in the hatch

You should do a search on this but I'll let you off so people won't flame you but from now on search first okay?

1. You need a DOHC VTEC Cylinder head, ecu, vtec solenoid, wiring, etc. In my opinion its not worth it with the 90 Integra motor which is code named b18a. However people have done this with B18b motors which are the non-VTEC version of 94+ Integra motors and have had some sucess with it. Simply swaping the head from any other B-series motor that has the VTEC mechanish and all the stuff I listed about provided them with a little bit of torque and around 30 more hp when the VTEC engaged around 5500rpms. You should maybe look into getting a civic if you are a beginner and looking to do stuff to your car because it has the most Aftermarket parts available for it than any other given car and they are also cheaper. As for your car if you look on the Integra Forums there are also many other available motor swaps for it which is probably a better choice than doing the head swap/VTEC conversion.

2. Yes the motor would fit, it has been done before many times. Just make sure you know what you need from the car and pull all of that out and lots of wiring will be done or you can simply buy a conversion harness.

it's vtec, not v-tec, where the expletive does the hyphen come from?
and it's not a motor type, it's honda's acronym for variable valve timing, toyota has their vvti/vvtli, and mitsubishi has their mivec...

and would people stop saying they have a vtec in their cars...sheesh /rant</TD></TR></TABLE>
