New security system
I just got a Clifford Matrix RS 2.5X security system, it's the best one they have at Best Buy except for the one with remote start (which is pointless for a 5spd) I got it for 149.50 with my discount (379.99 regularly)
It has ignition kill, vibration detectors, high output siren and a 2 way remote (meaning it notifies me if anyone touches my car by remote).
I am buying a battery backup for it which even if you cut the line to the battery the security system stays engaged..
With this setup it should be almost impossible to steal my car, or even break into it, correct?
Also, do you think it's worth the "intimidation" factor of putting a clutch lock on every night?

Layered security(auto lock, kill switch, alarm, hood locks, etc.) is always a good idea. By the way, you can use remote start with a manual transmission. You just need to hook a relay up to the clutch switch(at least on clifford alarms I have seen) and leave it in neutral.

No one can prevent there car from being stolen..if someone wants it theyll get it...examples:flat bed,any other tow truck,etc...now for preventions on the flat bed..my local sams sells wheel locks they lock onto the wheel and can't be moved unless the wheels are taken off..but if you are really worried about your car...install a hidden fuel pump swith, another ignition switch and the autolock and thats the best i'd think someone could do..
