New to Recaros, need rail help
So I just purchased a set of DC5 Recaros for my 00 civic. Now I realize that they won't bolt into my civic, and I know there is both a slider and a bracket. Slider goes to the seat and bracket goes to the car. Now my question is what is a "rail"? Is it the bracket and slider together?
I found http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc...=3785 on JHP and called them up. They really didn't know what they were talking about. I asked if that was all I would need to put my seats in my car, he wasn't sure. So I come to you guys for knowledge. Are these vision sliders the only thing I need to bolt the seats into my car? Is Vision a decent brand? Why do they say "race use only, not for street use"? Someone with some Recaro knowledge enlighten me please.

Those look like they will work for you. The bottom of the seats should have 3 holes. 2 are close together while the other is farther away on each side so the bracket will attach with a bolt. Then you add the sliders on and mount them to your floorboard.
I have CTR rails in my car. I also have a 2000 civic si.
The rails are sliders + brackets.

Yes, they are what you need.
They are a combined slider and mounting bracket.
I've used them in my '00 Civic and they worked just fine.
Vision is a good company and their part are generally pretty good.
The "not for street use" disclaimer is there to protect them from product liability claims in case someone decides to sue.
I'm running the same seats in my car, but changed the rails to these:

Got mine in Japan, not sure where to get them in the US.
Your other option is to get an adapter bracket from Wedge Engineering and a set of sliders from Recaro.

I didn't like this approach because it did not lower the seat enough for my taste;
meaning I couldn't wear a helmet and sit comfortably in the car.
